Conferred by the Civil Service Commission and Office of the President November 9, 2011 during the 111th Anniversary of the Civil Service Commission. The Presidential Lingkod Bayan Award is conferred on an individual with extraordinary contributions that had nationwide impact on public interest.

BakasParangal Ng Kabayanihan

Awarded by the National Disaster and Risk Reduction Management Council (NDRRMC) last September 12, 2012 at Armed Forces of the Philippines Commissioned Officers Club in Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo in Quezon City.  The BakasParangalngKabayanihan is granted to the leader of a unit or group that exhibited exemplary acts of heroism beyond their call of duty, upholding the core values of their responsibility to reach out to those in times of disasters.”

Best Local Chief Executive of the Year (City Category)

In recognition for her invaluable, dedicated and whole-hearted support given to Santa Rosa city Police Station in the implementation of various community development programs and anti-criminality campaign that made Santa Rosa City Police Station as “Best Police Station 2011-Nationwide.”  Given by the Police Regional Office CALABARZON on September 24, 2012.

Hibiscus rosa-sinensis ‘Arlene B. Arcillas’

Her very own Hibiscus Hybrid, the Hibiscus rosa-sinensis ‘Arlene B. Arcillas’was produced by the Institute of Plant Breeding, College of Agriculture in University of the Philippines Los Baños as part of its Women in Public Service Series. Itwas presented last October 10, 2011 at the D.L. Umali Lobby of UPLB. Under the said Series, 11 hybrids were named after women who devoted their time and energy to public service and possess the spirit of volunteerism to meet the needs of others before their own without material or financial rewards.The breeder is Dr. Pablito M. Magdalita.

Outstanding UPLB Alumni for the Department of Biology

Named the Outstanding UPLB Alumni for the Department of Biology in March 24, 2008. Mayor Arcillas obtained her degree in Bachelor of Science in Biology Major in Ecology from the University of the Philippines at Los Banos in 1992.


Outstanding Local Council Chairman Award

Given by the Boy Scouts of the Philippines in grateful recognition of her sterling leadership & commitment in achieving the Mission of Scouting at the Local Council - 56th Annual National Council meeting. May 16, 2012.

The Office of Civil Defense IV-A and the Regional Disaster Coordinating Council gave a Special Citation to the City for its outstanding accomplishment in Disaster Risk Management and for enhancing its disaster preparedness for its residents through the establishment of the Emergency/Disaster Operations Center. Given on October 2008.

Given by the National Nutrition Council. The award is given to Green Banner Awardees that has maintained good performance in managing their local nutrition plans within three (3) years. The City is a Green Banner awardee for three (3) consecutive years. October 25, 2011.
